3. Type of investment: The project will be implemented in the form of self-Vietnam investment
4. Building location: At the Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai Province.
5. Design capacity: 6.5 million tonnes of crude oil / year (equivalent to 130,000 barrels / day).
Land area:
– The main factory of 110 hectares.
– The oil tank: 42 hectares.
– The product tank: 40 hectares.
– Pipeline sea water intake and wastewater discharge: 4 hectares.
– Corridor pipeline safety products: 40 hectares.
– Port of products: 135 ha (land and sea).
– System not oil pumping station buoy (SPM), subsea pipelines and areas vessel rotation: 336 hectares (asl).
6. Supply of crude oil: Mostly Bach Ho crude oil (sweet oil) of Vietnam.
7. Products:
– Product categories: Propylene, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), unleaded automotive gasoline, jet fuel, kerosene civil, diesel engine, industrial diesel, fuel FO
– Products of the plant is used the maximum priority to the needs of the domestic market under competitive wholesale prices. Part of excess products to meet the needs of the domestic market will be exported.
– Product quality: For domestic products comply with the quality standards of Vietnam. For export products to meet export quality requirements.
8. The auxiliary items of plant: Plant is designed with all the ancillary items: crude oil tank farm, tank farm products, pipeline systems and oil products, power plants 60 MW, steam supply systems, wastewater treatment systems, inert gas system, fuel system, fuel system relay, information systems, signals, buildings … The auxiliary items designed for high reliability, ensuring operational safety and efficiency.
9. The sea works: The system does not float oil pumping crude oil terminal in the Gulf of Vietnamese bar layout is designed to receive oil ships with a tonnage of 80,000 DWT to 110,000:
– Port arrange sealed products at Dung Quat Bay, includes 6 berths:
– 02 berths for ships with a tonnage of 20,000 to 25,000 DWT used to produce gasoline and diesel (when designing, building redundancy into account the conditions to be able to expand to 50,000 DWT ships when necessary).
– 04 berths for ships with a tonnage of 3,000 to 5,000 DWT is used to produce gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, liquefied petroleum gas and fuel oil (when designing, building redundancy into account the conditions to be able to expand ships of 30,000 DWT).
– Port sealed product designed breakwaters (structures Dyke: 1,600m long, 27m high, 15m wide) to ensure the operation 365/365 days.
– Ben No. 1 for 10,000 DWT ships serving the construction phase and serve for the future tanker maintenance.
